Sandy Geffner

In addition to his more than 15 years of recruiting, Sandy has more than 11 years experience in Information Technology auditing and consulting, and he has passed the CISA and CPA examinations. He was Director of the Primerica (now CitiGroup) Information Systems Audit group, Information Systems Audit Manager at First Interstate Bank and American Savings Bank, and Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. He has an MBA from USC, an undergraduate math degree from UCLA, and a Standard Secondary Teaching Credential.

Sandy is very active in the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), serving as Treasurer, Membership Director and Board member of the Los Angeles Chapter and as Co-Chair of the 1995 International Conference. In addition, he is a frequent speaker at National and International Audit Conferences and ISACA, IIA, AITP and ISSA meetings. His article, "Introduction to Auditing Microcomputers" was published by Auerbach.

Stuart Fried

Stuart has more than 20 years of experience in the search and placement profession, specializing in Information Technology Audit, Information Systems, Finance and Accounting. He has five years in Corporate Human Resources, Career Development, Training and Outplacement. Stuart has expertise in career assessment, career transition, and employee retention, and he has delivered several hundred presentations and workshops for corporations, professional associations and universities.

His prior work experience includes internal auditing for The Bekins Company and corporate accounting for the Carte Blanche Corporation (Citicorp). He also taught accounting courses at the University of Maryland. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and an undergraduate business degree in Accounting and Marketing from Rider University.

Stuart has been very active in ISACA. He has served on the Board of the Los Angeles Chapter as Treasurer, Secretary and Membership Director, and was Co-Chair of the 1995 International Conference.
